Alexander and I struggle with depression, anxiety, and compound PTSD due to everything that has happened. The pandemic created a heightened level of mental struggles. We’ve learned a lot by talking to each other and trying to help those who feel like they are drowning in reality. Now, there are other issues going on in the world. The circumstances change, but the anxiety is overwhelming.
Life can be scary. It can be overwhelming. It can be suffocating. During these times, you may feel that you are in too much to pain to deal with all of this. Please remember, the pain others would go through without you would be greater.
Mental health is not something to ignore. Depression can make you feel like you are not going to get through this. Anxiety can create fears and irrational thinking. All of these things and more can build up to a point where people can feel there’s nothing left they can do.
No matter what is going on with your mental health, your family, your home, there are people who care and want you to be strong. We've got this 😉
